Welcome back, here’s to our THIRD post!!
We have tried so many products to help with Maverick’s eczema and I know it’s that way for most others. Typically the first thing you use doesn’t just clear it up completely. After many, many months of trying to clear it with products I found online; we finally got some relief with the products I am going to share. Although, these greatly help us, they did not completely clear it up. I will also say we have also recently gone dairy-free after speaking with our pediatrician. Going dairy-free in combination with using these products has almost completely cleared up the eczema!! Again, I am only sharing OUR EXPERIENCE and what worked for US. I’ll start with our nightly routine!
So, for bath time, we use the Minera Dead Sea Salt every single night. We usually just do one scoop. We also use the Babo Botanicals Sensitive Baby Shampoo & Wash. After bath time, we then start with the oil/lotions. Step one, is the Earth Mama Calendula Baby Oil. There is no particular way or where we put the oil, we just use this allover. Next we use the Babo Botanicals Daily Therapy Lotion OR on days where we need extra moisture, we will use the Babo Hydra Therapy Lotion. Lastly, we use the Babo Botanicals Healing Ointment OR we just recently started using the Babo Botanicals Soothing Miracle Balm. They are both very similar and we are still testing out the miracle balm, so I can’t say which I would like more just yet.
So, we use these products in that order daily and throughout the day we will reapply the Babo Botanicals Daily Therapy Lotion.
ABOUT EACH OF THESE PRODUCTS
- Minera Dead Sea Salt | Relieves psoriasis, eczema, and acne. It’s 100% pure and rich in minerals. Also, detoxifies, softens, and cleans skin.
- Babo Botanicals Sensitive Baby Shampoo & Wash | Gentle daily cleanser soothes and protects dry, sensitive or eczema prone skin. It’s clinically tested, hypoallergenic, sulfate free, pediatrician tested, steroid free, dermatologist tested, gluten, soy and dairy free, along with paragon & phthalate free. It’s also an extra mild tear free formula. This is truly a great brand that we love using.
- Babo Botanicals Daily Hydra Lotion | This products ingredients and characteristics are similar to the shampoo and wash. It is mineral oil free, non-greasy, absorbs easily, and vegan. We also love that this brand is cruelty free.
- Babo Botanicals Hydra Therapy Lotion | These products are also fragrance free! This product is different than the Daily Hydra because it provides a little bit extra moisture. It helps relieve dry, chapped and itchy skin; but is still great for sensitive and eczema prone skin. This product also has very similar characteristics to the Daily Hydra Lotion.
- Babo Botanicals Healing Ointment | This product is different because it’s in salve form and is really great for those trouble areas or extra dry patches that you need an immense amount of moisture. It’s preservative free, steroid free, petroleum free, and mineral oil free. You can also use this for cuts, dry heels/feet and dry hands.
- Babo Botanicals Soothing Miracle Balm | This is very similar to the healing ointment. It’s also a salve but this is in a bottle. This also has similar characteristics to all of their other products I listed.
