BANANA + STRAWBERRY PANCAKES FOR BABY / BLW

Thanks for being here!! This is a recipe that we use about every other week. This is typically Maverick’s breakfast, sometimes we change up the type of pancakes (which we will add those other pancake recipes as well later on). This is an easy recipe to make, easy to store/freeze (can freeze up to 1 month), and even easier to warm up and give to your little one. We are doing BLW at the moment, so Maverick typically eats whatever we eat. I don’t usually eat much breakfast, so I make these specially for him. I have eaten these, and they are good! We have made a conscious effort to change our lifestyle and to live healthier. These are a good, easy way to start if you are looking to do the same.

• INGREDIENTS •
MAKES APPROXIMATELY 10 – 12 SMALLER PANCAKES [ABOUT 2 INCHES ROUND]
– 1 RIPE BANANA
– 1 LARGE EGG
– 2 STRAWBERRIES * YOU CAN SUB ANOTHER FRUIT
– 4 TABLESPOONS OF WHITE WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR * DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THIS EXACT FLOUR, IT’S JUST WHAT WE USE
– A LITTLE LESS THAN 1/4 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
– CINNAMON TO TASTE
• STEP 1 • CUT UP FRUIT

• STEP 2 • COMBINE/MASH UP THE FRUIT

• STEP 3 • ADD THE EGG

• STEP 4 • ADD FLOUR & BAKING POWDER / WHISK TOGETHER UNTIL COMBINED

• STEP 5 • ADD CINNAMON TO TASTE * THIS IS NOT NECESSARY / BECAUSE IT’S FOR BLW I TRY NOT TO ADD TOO MUCH SEASONINGS ON THE FOODS

• STEP 6 • FINALLY, ADD BUTTER TO A WARM PAN, SPOON THE BATTER INTO THE SIZE YOU’D LIKE, FLIP AFTER A FEW MINUTES TO COOK THE OTHER SIDE & ENJOY [*WE USE VEGAN BUTTER BECAUSE WE ARE DAIRY FREE]
